Welcome to my blog!
Here I share my journey as an educator: the good, the bad and the funny

For me the classroom is a place for sharing ideas and growth for both the teacher and learner. The classroom has also evolved and we now have virtual classrooms. This blog is a bit of all that. The latest update on my blog is that I am now a student. It is an exciting milestone for someone who really enjoys learning, and reading for a PhD provides that opportunity and space to experience the much underrated sacred moments with books. I have just added a page where I reflect on my PhD journey.
The blog takes you through my journey as a teacher, right form the time when teaching was a nightmare, to the days when I would smile and say to myself ‘here stands a teacher who swears to inspire her learners and give them the best learning experience she can give’. I present to you a fusion of my professional, academic and personal life. Details regarding professional and academic credentials can be found at the ‘About’ page. Catch a glimpse of my life ‘Outside the classroom’ to find out how I stay motivated. Flash the warning lights if I become too personal and bore you with details of my not so eventful life.
One more thing, I do outreach projects that are aimed at advancing the education for all agenda. I am a proud founder of the reading project named The Magic in the Page 2016. Join me every Thursday at 1430 hours at Segoditshane Primary School to read with students and assist in educational club activities.
A picture says a thousand words
I have included a gallery of my adventures as well. Someone might spot something in the images that I could not capture in words.
Thanks for visiting and please remember to leave a comment. There is a contact form in case you have any questions and comments you would want to forward. I am also open to share posts from guests, it could on education, learning, technology, food and travel. These are topics I love and I always enjoy other people’s stories.
